Prescott Offers a Wide Variety of Autumn Activities for Families

Halloween is almost here and Thanksgiving is just a few weeks away. For both holidays, and for all the weeks in between, Prescott offers a variety of autumn activities that will both enchant and entertain your family throughout the rest of the fall season.

Family Halloween Activities In Prescott:

Halloween Happenings at the Highlands Center for Natural History
October 24th from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
$3 for children 13 and under
$5 for adults
In this outdoor Halloween celebration, families are invited to explore the natural wonder of the Highlands Center at night in a safe and exciting environment. Guests can “take a walk on the wild side” in the Howl-o-ween Maze, learn about nighttime creatures of the forest, and see wildlife from the Heritage Park Zoo in their nighttime habitat.

Boo at The Zoo
Friday, October 31st from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the Heritage Park Zoological Sanctuary
$3 for HPZS members
$5 for non-members

Make sure to bring your flashlight and come trick-or-treat at the zoo as you go and explore for your favorite nocturnal animals after the sun goes down.

Prescott Pumpkin Patch Events:

The Great Prescott Pumpkin Patch
Saturday, October 25th from 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at the Courthouse Plaza
$5 per person
• Costume contests at the top of every hour.
• Storytelling from members of the Peregrine Book Company at 20 minutes past the hour.
• Drama series from the Bradshaw Mountain High School drama team, taking place at 40 minutes after the hour.

The pumpkin patch is open from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Unlimited amount of rides and turns on all inflatables and carnival games with the $5 admission.

Pumpkin and Corn Maze Fest at Mortimer Nursery and Landscape Company
Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays in October
$13 per person at the gate or $12 if purchased online
Children under 2 are free
• 15 acre pumpkin patch
• 25 acre corn maze
• Hay rides
• Antique tractor show and pull
• Craft vendors
• Barn dance and live entertainment
• Obstacle courses, corn bath, bubble run, and other games and activities
